Welcome to Summit Trust.
Kindly be advised that Jochen Eckhoff, Chavonnes BC Cooper and Alfred T Mbowane will be attending to the liquidation of Deeghuys (Pty) Ltd (In Provisional Liquidation) “Deeghuys”. Furthermore, all communications regarding this estate (progress reports, creditor reports, meeting of creditors etc) will be done via this online estate profile, the Government Gazette and one or more newspapers circulating in the district in which the company was registered or had its main place of business.
Kindly be advised that Deeghuys was provisionally liquidated on 11 June 2018. Furthermore, The Master of the High Court, Cape Town, appointed Jochen Eckhoff (Summit Trust), Chavonnes BC Cooper and Alfred T Mbowane as Provisional Liquidators of Deeghuys on 27 June 2018. It is the duty of the Provisional Liquidators to take control of the company’s assets and not to report on the company’s affairs. The Liquidators will submit a formal creditors report at the second meeting of creditors.
Further instructions and information will follow from the Provisional Liquidators if the order is made final on 31 July 2018.
The provisional order of liquidation was made final on 31 July 2018. The Master of the High Court will now convene by notice in the Gazette, a first meeting of the creditors of the estate for the proof of their claims against the estate. The Master shall publish such notice on a date not less than ten days before the date upon which the meeting is to be held and shall in such notice state the time and place at which the meeting is to be held.
The first meeting of creditors was successfully held and closed on 14 September 2018 at the Magistrate’s court, Bellville. The Liquidators shall, within three months, convene the second meeting of creditors. The purpose of the second meeting of creditors is to prove additional claims against the estate, adopt resolutions and to table a formal creditors, members and contributories report. The time, date and place of the second meeting of creditors and the creditors, members and contributories report will be made available on this website.
The second meeting of creditors and contributories will be held at The Magistrate’s Court, Bellville, on 12 October 2018 at 11h00.
The second meeting of creditors and contributories was successfully held and closed. The liquidators will now proceed in accordance with the section 402 report and creditors directions. The first liquidation and distribution account will be submitted by 14 March 2019.
