Kindly be advised that Jochen Eckhoff and Johnine Maddocks will attend to the liquidation of Henque 2890 CC T/A AS Brazier & Associates (in provisional liquidation). Furthermore, all communications regarding this estate (progress reports, creditor reports, meeting of creditors) will be done via this online estate profile. You will receive notifications, via email, when we update the estate.
Kindly be advised that Henque 2890 CC T/A AS Brazier & Associates was provisionally liquidated on 2 January 2018. Furthermore, The Master of the High Court, Cape Town, appointed Jochen Eckhoff (Summit Trust) and Johnine Maddocks to be the liquidators of the corporation.
Please be advised that when a corporation is in provisional liquidation it is the duty of the liquidators to, inter alia, take charge of the corporation’s assets and not to comment on its affairs. The liquidators will submit a formal creditors report in terms of section 79 of the Close Corporations Act at the second meeting of creditors. Further instructions and information will follow from the liquidators if the order is made final on 13 February 2018.
The provisional order of liquidation was made final on 13 February 2018. The Liquidators will, within a month, convene by notice in the Gazette, a first meeting of the creditors and members of the corporation for, inter alia, the proof of their claims against the corporation. The Liquidators shall publish such notice on a date not less than ten days before the date upon which the meetings is to be held and shall in such notice state the time and place at which the meeting is to be held.
The liquidators will submit a preliminary report before the first meeting which will allow concurrent creditors to consider their position carefully before proving a claim against the estate.
The first meeting of creditors and members was successfully held and closed on 20 March 2018 at The Master’s offices, Cape Town. The Liquidators shall now proceed to examine the claim that was proven at the first meeting of creditors. The Liquidators shall, within three months, convene the second meeting of creditors. The purpose of the second meeting of creditors is to prove additional claims against the estate, adopt resolutions and to table a formal creditors report. The time, date and place of the second meeting of creditors and the formal creditors’ report will also be made available on this website.
The second meeting of creditors will take place at the Master of the High Court, Cape Town, on 22 May 2018 at 09h00.
The second meeting of creditors was postponed to 5 June 2018 in order for the presiding officer to further consider the liquidators request to postpone the meeting for an enquiry.
The second meeting of creditors and members was postponed to 4 and 5 July 2018 to hold an enquiry. The dates above are subject to the presiding officer’s, who will preside over the enquiry, confirmation. The aforementioned presiding officer is currently on leave, and therefore the dates can only be “confirmed” at a later stage.
The second meeting of creditors and members was postponed to 25 October 2018 to hold an enquiry.
