Dear Creditors

 

Welcome to Summit Trust.

 

Kindly be advised that Jochen Eckhoff and Fusi P Rampoporo will attend to the sequestration of Stephen Rhett Gersowsky. Furthermore, all communications regarding this estate (progress reports, creditor reports, meeting of creditors) will be done via this online estate profile, the Government Gazette and one or more newspapers circulating in the district in which the insolvent resides or his principal place of business is situated. If you register to this estate you will receive notifications, via email, when we update the estate.

 

Kindly be advised that all meetings of creditors and members, enquiries and activities pertaining to our estates will be suspended until further notice. We will continue to closely monitor the development of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and remain alert about potential risks to our estates and our clients’ interests. We will strive to mitigate any damage suffered by all interested parties, due to these testing times, to the best of our abilities. We will keep you informed.

 

Kindly be advised that Stephen Rhett Gersowsky was provisionally sequestrated on 19 July 2018.  Furthermore, The Master of the High Court, Cape Town, appointed Jochen Eckhoff (Summit Trust) and Fusi P Rampoporo as Provisional Trustees of Stephen Rhett Gersowsky on 25 July 2018.

 

Please be advised that it is our duty as Provisional Trustees to secure the assets of  Stephen Rhett Gersowsky and not to comment on the estate’s affairs.  Further information and instructions will follow if the provisional order is made final on 24 August 2018.

 

The provisional order of sequestration was made final on 17 September 2018. The Master of the High Court will now convene by notice in the Gazette, a first meeting of the creditors of the estate for the proof of their claims against the estate. The Master’s shall publish such notice on a date not less than ten days before the date upon which the meeting is to be held and shall in such notice state the time and place at which the meeting is to be held.

 

The first meeting of creditors was successfully held and closed on 11 October 2018 at The Magistrate’s court, Wynberg. The Trustees shall, within three months, convene the second meeting of creditors.  The purpose of the meeting is to prove additional claims against the estate, adopt resolutions and to table a formal creditors and contributories report. The time, date and place of the second meeting of creditors and the formal creditors and contributories report will also be made available on this website.

 

The second meeting of creditors will be held at The Magistrate’s court, Wynberg, on 22 November 2018 at 09h00.

 

The second meeting of creditors was successfully held and closed. The trustees will now proceed in accordance with the section 81 report and creditors directions.  The first liquidation and distribution account will be submitted by 18 April 2019.
